Women's hockey sure has been growing in Wisconsin. I hope he enjoys continued success!

To be honest, I enjoyed the 2nd part than the first. (No disrespect to women's hockey).

It was nice to see him stress about playing other sports & how people think they must do a sport year round. To add to this, I think it's safe to say in hockey, you just don't see to many 18 yr old freshmen at the college level. More and more push the age limit at that level, as many college coaches want their players to have junior experience.

A good example that comes to mind is Wisconsin's Nick Sirota-who just finished his senior season. This past year up at NMU, the Wildcats didn't seem to win as much unless he was scoring []. I remember reading his bio & what caught my attention was he also played football at Beaver Dam all 4 years of high school, (think made All-State?) then apparently made his move in hockey afterwards.

Football and hockey can work together at the high school level, I believe they can compliment each other, but it seems many coaches see things otherwise. [>:]

I also found his comments on rinks interesting. In these tough economic times it's going to be a challange to keep hockey affordable.
