They will take Bogut, but I wish they would take Marvin Williams. I am just not too fond of Bogut, and I think he will be a bust.

I kinda want them to take Williams, but Bogut would be the better pick. Get the Australian boy.

C'mon, man! Rik Smits was the best foundation you could ever find! [:-][:-][:-][:-][:-][:-]

Remember the last big named Utah product that played for the Bucks? Went by the name of Keith Van Horn? He was worthless and didn't pan out so well and then when he was traded to the Mavericks, he was the laughing stock of the team in the playoffs against the Rockets and was getting ripped on by Barkley & company with regularity before "hurting" his ankle. Take Majerus' advice, he'd know! If there's anything he knows, it's good tasting cheeseburgers and how well his recruits will do in the NBA.

van horn also wasn't a seven footer though was he? we're talking about a 7'0" 19 or 20 year old(dont know the exact age) who can shot from all over and can crash the boards.

Van Horn is 6'10, so he is 2 inches shorter than Bogut. If in your post your saying that Bogut can shoot from all over and crash the boards your kind of right. Bogut can make a college three, but the NBA three is a little out of range for him. He is a great rebounder though. You make it sound in your post that VH couldn't shoot, but that's all he can do. He shoots threes, but doesn't rebound, or play defense too well. VH is more of a wing, and Bogut is more of a post player, so they really can't be compared.

If the Bucks don't take Bogut, they are making a huge mistake. They'd be stupid not to take him.

Williams is more exciting, but it is hard to pass on the National POY. Bogut will be better right away, but Williams will be a star in the NBA.

I think that Bogot would be the correct selection. He will be a solid consistant low post threat. Something the Bucks have lacked for a while. Honestly how often do teams get the chance to draft a true center. Not that often.

You guys don't understand that Bogut was putting up these great numbers in the Mountain West Conference (I think) not against great ACC, SEC, or Big 10 teams. Williams came off the bench on the National Championship team, but everyone knew he should have started, it was just that Jawad Williams was a senior. If Marvin played in the Mountain West Conference he probably would have put up better stats than Bogut.

With Bogot they have a chance to get a dominant center. On top of it I think we are a lot more likely to have a top 5 position player. With Williams all you are getting is another Lamar Odom type guy. A tweener 3-4 who can not do anything great. Has any of the guys that were mentioned before had 1st pick potential. I can answer that....
