Hey,

I just created a new fantasy baseball league. As of now I hope to run it as a franchise style league. Head to head scoring, 10 teams, and some increased scoring over the usual.

Such as, teams start 8 pitchers however only 5 of them can be starters. Holds are given points, and points are given for pick-offs and double plays while subtracted for things like caught stealing and balks.

If interested send me your email and I'll get an invite fired off.
The Brewers will finish 90-72 and earn the #1 WC berth.

Carlos Gomez will have a 30/40 season (HR/SB) and win a 2nd Gold Glove en route to an All Star selection.

We are currently at 8 owners.

For those who are signed up can you take a look over the settings and see if anything stands out as something that needs to be changed?

Invite sent. Up to 6 members already. I am open to expanding to 12, however don't want to get bigger than that.

-"Uhhhhh, i got to go, im late for class."
-"Its Saturday morning."
-"Then im really late for class. Where are my pants?"

I guess, this will be my first and only year at UWL, so don't know how it was done in past.

Don't think, you can only hurt the ballclub.
If you can't play with integrity, don't play.

yeah, in the past, faculty and staff had a @uwlax.edu email address, but students were different. My (now defunct) email address was webster.terr@students.uwlax.edu talk about a handful

As of now the number of keepers is set at 25. While this is called a keeper league, I had more in mind running it as a 'franchise' style league where you'll need to have a good mix of young prospects and older, more established veterans in order to be good on a yearly basis.

A deep bench (17 players) allows you to take a number of guys who may not even play much this year in the expectation that they will be a star in the future.

Little known fact on Brad Nelson. He had 2 different colored bobbleheads made while with the Brewers. One is a white Snappers jersey and the other is a red Mavs jersey. I have both. And both of them were auto'd by Brad at the first ever on-deck that the Brewers had.

There is your little know factoid for the day.
