1.  In what has to be a MAJOR OMISSION, 6 WVC players were named to the WFSCA all-state team (1st team, 2nd team or Hon. Mention) yet Marshfield's Jenna Jakobi, a unanimous all-WVC 1st-teamer and the WVC's 2019 Player of the Year, was completely snubbed by the WFCSA ... no all-state recognition, not even any all-district recognition. Appears to be a HUGE OVERSIGHT by the WFSCA (state's prep softball coaches) !

2019 WFSCA 2019 All-State Team:

2.  Dan Barwick's (DB11) namesake, Marshfield sophomore outfielder Taylor Barwick (he tells me she's no relation that he's aware of), was named to the WVC's all-conference 2nd-team after batting .412 in her 1st season on the varsity.
