Overall, and at this point, they might still be able to play in a New Year's Day Bowl game. They'll need a lot of help to get a good one, but my guess is either going to be a game in either Texas or Florida, because the Bowls in those states know that Wisconsin always travels well.

Oh that would be wonderful. I can't wait to see them lose that one 45-13.

UW is a decent team, to jump to a conclusion like that is pointless.

They have one of the best running attacks, and one of the best run defenses in the country.

On the flip side, they have one of the worst secondary's in the Big10.....I think there are alot of good teams UW would beat, and alot of bad teams they could lose to.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves in diagnosing this season as a failure, they could still very easily end up 10-3.
D-1 State Champs 2005, 2009 & 2011
D-1 State Runner-Up 2004, 2006, 2008 & 2010
Big8 Champs 2004,2005,2006,2007,2008,2009,2010,2011

Lights Out!!!!

How the hell do you get holding on a punt return where a fair catch is called? That is classic.

Also, what kind of announcer uses this expression after a guy muscles through the middle for 8 hard yards:
"John Clay sifting through the garbage!"

WTF, is he homeless?

Yeah, it's weird, I love Wayne on the Packer broadcasts, but when he's doing random Big 10 football or basketball games he can be kind of grating.

Put Wayne on TV and he is terrible.

Had to listen to the end of the game at the cabin, and they made it seem as if John Clay left his feet on his fumble play. If true, why? He's 6'2", 250. Also, is there any way to get him to stop holding the ball like he's Jerry Seinfeld running with a stolen rye?

On 3rd & 1 from NW's 45 yd line, the Badgers ran left with Clay hitting the tackle/guard hole. He was carrying the ball in his left hand with his left arm away from his body kind of low & to the outside. Besides his arm & the ball being away from his body, he was not using his right hand or arm in any way to shield himself or the ball from contact as he hit the hole. As tight end Mickey Turner came from the left to reach-block and/or seal off a NW linebacker, he was upended by a submarining defender (a safety, I believe). The result of Turner having his legs taken out from under him, was Turner & Clay making contact at the point of the ball, on Clay's left side, as Clay was beginning to dive (stretch) forward, as it appeared he was about to come up short of the 1st down. The ball was still in Clay's left hand, his arm away from his body, very unprotected, when the contact with Turner occured. The ball squirted forward approx 5 yds before it was recoved by a NW DB.

And Badger fans across the state, watching the game on BTN, dropped their foreheads into their hands in total disbelief and shock, while those driving on state highways & listening on the radio, struggled to keep their vehicles from going off the road.
