NO big play backs from lutheran...just a big line.......U can put any runningback in the state behind that line and rush for alot............anyways.Greendale makes big plays with the connection of Ridgeway and Erickson the best recicver in the state...Wisco has beat up on them in the past but greendale changes tommorrow

Not sure of your definition of "big Play" is but....
Both of wiscos "no big play backs" each have more yards the Erikson - WEBB=1141 yds, Spath=1228yds to Erickson=1129 yds .. As big plays go, both backs have scored many times from 35 to 80 yards out.

And as far as points scored Webb has 114 pts, Spath has 84 and Erikson has 98 pts scored

Considering how close all three players stats are on total yards and points scored, I would say they all are capable of big plays.

12 more hours and we will all see who makes the "BIG PLAYS".....Should be a great game

Final:

Greendale-27
Wisco------33

It was tied with about 2 minutes left when wisco broke out and got it into the redzone. A bit later, they scored, giving GD the ball with less than 1:40 on the clock...unfortunately, they were unable to get free for a score.

Too bad...GD really had it in them to win this one tonight. This wasn't a case of Wisco playing bad, but GD played GREAT...unfortunately just not great enough to win.

Special Kudos to the line and Biller...they moved the ball perhaps better than any has against Wisco. Of course, this perhaps wasn't possible if it wasn't for Wisco trying to contain the Panther passing attack.

Good game Wisco...take it to the State finals and get the win.

Tonight was a great game. After a kind of sluggish first half, Wisco's offense was in top form in the second half, scoring on every possession. Wisco had a chance to go up 9 with about 9 minutes remaining but they couldn't get the extra point, which turned out to be big because Greendale was able to tie the game at 27 with about 6:30 to go. A nice run by Webb put Wisco into the red zone, and after converting a 4th and inches at the 5, they scored on a sneak by Klein with about 1:40 left. Greendale got one first down, but then threw four straight incomplete passes, and that was it. Great game. Biller is a stud at RB...the best I've seen against Wisco this year. Just big and powerful.

WOW!!! Is all I can say. What a game. If you love high school football this is what it is all about. Two high power teams going at each other and having a great battle. I have no idea what Wisco did at halftime to change what they were doing but it worked. I would also like to give props to greendales running game. I heard Biller had 147 yards in the first half. Who would have thought Greendale was a running threat. In all Greendales defense could not stop Wisco in the second half. Great job to all of those boys from Greendale. heck of a year. Now on to 2009 woodland conference football.

I'll take Wisco, but I hope/think Greendale will put up a heck of a fight.

Very well put! Katie bar the door on this one!

My only comment is that because I thrive on logic and reality (thus the name LOL), the Wisco running back probably touch the ball 20 or 30 times a game while the Gdale recievers are lucky if they get 8 touches so you really can't compare total yards because you are comparing apples to oranges, Bud Light to Miller Light, night to day, boys to girls... ect [:-]

You are right about the touches, but my point with listing all 3 of the players stats was that the big play potential is there on both sides ........ this should be a great game....looks like the sky is clearing a little too....
