Both teams with a lot to play for...not sure on Bucky's chances in this one, but things have been rolling their way.

A UW win garners, at minimum, a co-Big 10 regular-season championship and the #1 seed in the Big 10 Conference Tournament.

Bucky has already clinched a double-bye seed for the Big 10 Tournament.

Down 3 at the half.  Both teams relying on bombing from 3 and if the Badgers don't figure out to run Green off the 3 point line, he will hit a bunch more in the 2nd half.  For me, to much settling for the 3 from the Badgers and they gotta get something inside.  Reuvers and Potter can score down low and I would love to see  more inside-out action.

Not sure what is going to happen the 2nd half, but getting some easy hoops is going to be a key.  Get to the hoop and hope Bo Borowski blows the whistle.

They somehow managed to turn a rebounding disadvantage on its head, clamped down defensively, stole back the lead late and held on for a 60-56 win.

Guaranteed a share of the B1G title.

What.

A lot of experts on this site want to see Gard gone. If he is not the Big Ten coach of the year I will be shocked.

USA Today named him as such...pretty sure his only competition is Underwood from Illinois.

Heckuva job they did considering this team has some *deficiencies of talent*...to say nothing of the Moore stuff and the mid-season unpleasantness.

The system works, still not convinced that long-term Gard can keep it at Ryan-esque levels, but it worked with this group, by hook or by crook. The B1G is chock full of wildly inconsistent programs. It's probably shouldn't be too surprising the same handful seem to rise to the top more often than not.

Waiting for the NCAA Tourney where it feels like no B1G teams will survive the first weekend.
