Not that it should happen but Winona is a big power in D2..., looks like a long year for the Gophers.

That is almost as bad as UW-M losing to Parkside.
Eric Devendorf will make an NBA roster by 2013.

WSU is a d2 powerhouse with a few D1 caliber players. Parkside isnt. The loss isn't as bad as it may seem. That being said a Big Ten team should not lose at home to any D2 team. The refs were trying to hand the Gophers the game and they still couldn't take it.

7 out of the 16 players on Winona's roster is from Wisconsin, including 3 of their 5 starters!

It was a great game ... an undersized WSU team out-rebounded Minnesota. The Gophers have decent backcourt talent, their front court is slow and lacks depth.

I don't think its nearly as bad. WSU is the defending D2 champs and this is the second D1 team they've beaten.

There is the box score. Smith is a double double machine.
