My vote is for John Koronkiewicz. He takes an Undermaned team and beats a Huge Greendale team. Also after starting 1-2 on the season to get those kids turned around was amazing. Not to mention it was his B-Day.Thats enough to warrent COY in my opinion.Career Record of 183-58.Not to shabby!!!!

I will admit, that is an incredible coaching job.

But if I had a vote, it would have to go to Doug Lange of Brook Central. To take a 2-7 team to 13-1 and OT in the state final...dismantling Ashwaubenon like they did in the semis...no disrespect to Coach Koronkiewicz whatsoever, this is just my opinion.

True,I also was thinking Gilmans coach. I hope it will go to Koronk, after our 1-2 record and Not being Ranked all year. He Deserves it. You cant go wrong with any of the coaches nominated, though.

I'll bet anyone 20 dollars that the Riverside coach gets it.

It should obviously go to the coach of the best team in the state... and there's no question that's Mequon Homestead. You dont win by 35 points in the championship game and not be deserving of the Coach of the Year Honors.

Not really, if you have to work with what you've got, and what you've got is the most talented team in the state, coaching isnt terribly hard.
You are not smarter than your favorite team's upper management, so stop trying to be.

If Cal Tackes can graduate 21 starters after a 3 year run and come back 13-1 with the 4th straight championship and NOT WIN coach of the year, I would love to see the coach who should beat him......you better have more than he won the state championship with an unknown team, he won lots of games overachieving, etc.

IM THE BIGGEST HOMER EVER,But if Koronk cant win it. Cal better. What he got those kids to do,is simply amazing. Not to mention They were all sophmores and Juniors. So they will be the ODDS on Favorites the Next 2 years as well. They could be looking at 5 and 6 in a row!!!!

I am guarenteeing that Pat Wagner of Riverside gets this award. They had a fairy tale season and its just too much of a feel good story. Other coaches may be just as deserving or more, but there is a 0% chance that another coach gets it.

Pat Wagner already won the JS COY. So we'll just have to wait for the others to come in. But honestly, with the ATHLETES in the city they Should be doing this(deep playoff runs) every year. But what a year for Riverside.
