Jerry has realized that just because he wants to win it doesn't mean he will win in a league that gives no teams monetary advantages. So, now he wants to be able to buy championships, just like Steinbrenner.
The Brewers will finish 90-72 and earn the #1 WC berth.

Carlos Gomez will have a 30/40 season (HR/SB) and win a 2nd Gold Glove en route to an All Star selection.

This actually isn't what it at first appears.

The major revenue sharing that occurs is more in the billions than in the millions. The NFL will likely never go to the MLB model, as the NFL sells its TV rights as a package. The Yankees can make their own channel while the Rays struggle to sell their rights, but in the NFL, the Cowboys and Jaguars get equal TV money.

Peter King described this issue as more of a "shot across the bow" to the players. Its really an insignificant sum of money as far as the clubs are concerned, but its elimination allows teams to avoid the Cap Floor. That's a big deal for the players, as while it won't affect your big name guy, its going to reduce the size of your average contract.
