In what has to be a MAJOR OMISSION, 6 Wisconsin Valley Conference players were named to the WFSCA all-state team (1st team, 2nd team or Hon. Mention) yet Marshfield's Jenna Jakobi, a unanimous all-WVC 1st-teamer and the WVC's 2019 Player of the Year, was completely snubbed by the WFCSA ... no all-state recognition, not even any all-district recognition.  Appears to be a HUGE OVERSIGHT by the WFSCA !

2019 WFSCA 2019 All-State Team:
Norb Durst, Content Mgr  for Wisconsin Sports Network contacted me and pointed out the primary reason Marshfield's Jenna Jakobi, the Wisconsin Valley Conference's 2019 Player of the Year was not considered for the WFSCA's (state's prep softball coaches) all-district and all-team teams is because her head coach at Marshfield High School, Dan Kosta, did not nominate her.

Members of the WFSCA all-district & all-state  teams must first be nominated by their respective head coaches in order to be considered for post-season honors.

Huge disservice to Jenna Jakobi & big-time oversight by her coach!
