Gemantown 30 - Port Washington 12.
Warhawks took control early and never let it go. They got a defensive TD, blocked a punt to set up a 1-yard run, and got two TD passed from Geibling. Solid team effort for Germantown.
Port junior QB Brock Loop did throw 2 touchdown passes in the second half for Port Washington.

Univ. of Homestead - 20
Whitefish Bay - 15

Whitefish Bay controlled the first half and went into the locker room up 13-7. The second half was a different story. Homestead scored on 95-yard TD pass to tie the game and then in the 4th quarter drove 80-some yards capped by a short TD run, taking the lead 20-13. Whitefish Bay then got inside the Homestead 20 but threw an INT to seal the deal.

Homestead is not playing good ball right now. Tonight against Bay they fumbled the first play and Bay recovered and went on to score 3 plays later. The offense isn't clicking right now, but their defense is keeping them in games. Bay's other score was off a lucky tip and they took it 60 or some yards for the score.

Gensrick won a state championship in track last year on the 4x1 relay. Gensrick is very fast as well with longer strides. Running on the football field is a lot different than running a 40. Gensrick had that TD no matter who was out there.

as you fumbling is "all part of the game," then how is injury or w/e reason Sklba sat out not part of the game? and even if he wouldve been in, he wouldnt have been able to run w/ gensrick.

Maybe Jordan wouldn't have caught him, but I think he would have made a much better read and play on the ball to begin with, and it might not have even been caught in the first place. The misplay was on the read and coverage, not the rundown, IMO.

Candyman,
Did you personally hand-time both of these two athletes side-by-side?? You say what you said like you actually know how fast Sklba is, like you've seen him play each Friday this year and helped Mel Kiper scout out this year's high school talent. Let's hear your arguement against 4.44. Gensrick must run 4.20.

I never said he wasn't fast, or said that his time was wrong. I'm sure he did run that 40 time. I'm just saying it's a lot different on a football field and Gensrick would have scored.
