I don't see Superior and River Falls being in the same regional and Waunakee and Deforest.  Drive time is to much.

River Falls to Hortonville, which is the next closest team I don't have in their region is 235 miles and 3 hrs and 36 min away.  River Falls to Waunakee is 225 miles and 3 hrs and 25 min.

Superior to Waunakee is 318 miles, 4hrs 39 min., Superior to Hortonville is 310 miles and 4 hours, 43 min.

So I don't see anyway that those potential drives are to be eliminated.  If I was in Superior's shoes, yeah I would do what I can to avoid the trip all the way to Madison for round 1.  But not much that can be done about the regional they will be in.

If Racine Park makes the playoffs I’m pretty sure they’d be D2 due to their enrollment and I’m pretty sure they’d be in your Group C.

I have them as the 2nd smallest in D1 right now.  Decent chance they could get pushed to 2, but for now I'm placing them in D1.

Big game for Nicolet tonight. If they win they could make the playoffs at 4-5. This would be big for a program that has 2 wins in the last 5 years. Not sure when the last time they made the playoffs in football was.

1989. Their only appearance. Cedarburg is pretty formidable despite that 1-5 record. Nicolet will have to bring their A game.

By beating Menomonie tonight, Superior probably avoided a long trip in the first round; they are now likely to host that game.
