It's pretty amazing looking at the standings with five schools with one loss......and knowing that a couple of those schools have a real chance of losing out the rest of the way and not making the playoffs.

Antigo at Wausau East........I think Antigo better play this one like it's a playoff game with SPASH, DCE and Marshfield left on the schedule. Still, I think East is feeling it now and they know they need the W too to secure the post-season. East by less than a TD.

Wisconsin Rapids at SPASH........If Rapids doesn't get back on the winning track, they'll keep talking about that two point attempt last week for a while. Rapids is a good team, but SPASH is just too good. Panthers by at least 10.

Merrill at DCE........Merrill has proven they can be competitive at home. Unfortunately for the Blue Jays this is at DCE. Everest finally seemed to put it all together last week and look for them to win by 35.

Rhinelander at Marshfield........Last week was the first time Rhinelander really wasn't competitive and they do some things well.......but Marshfield looked terrific at West last week and should roll by 20.

Wausau West at Sparta..........after three weeks in a row against SPASH, DCE, and Marshfield the Warriors must be thrilled for a long bus ride out of the conference. The numbers look pretty bad for West this year, but they do have some talent, especially on offense, and this is the start of a stretch of games they can win. Sparta hasn't put up big numbers offensively this season and West should be able to score some. West by 10 on the road.

Ever think of becoming a sports writer? This seems like a pretty good analysis. The East vs Antigo game will probably be the closest. You and sabegs28 have picked different teams so that makes it all the more interesting.

So much for predictions ey guys......that's what is so great about football.........on any given night anything can happen including an 0-5 team going on the road and beating a team that year in and year out is one of the better teams in the state. Congrats to the Hodags on your big win tonight!
