I think that some people are underestimating Brookfield East also.
I'm going to take..
Brook East over Sussex.
Brook Central over Marquette
WAC over Tosa East by a lot. I don't see East winning another game this year.
Hale over Falls
TW Football 2006
6-4(4-4)
Playoffs

you really think that you would consider hamilton's win an upset?

Buddy, I am about as big a homer as there is on this board, but you need to get a grip. What the heck do you think the quotation marks were for?

i brought this up once before, i find it funny that in over 30 yrs of watching hs sports that the milwaukee journal has always put marq as one of their fav teams, when they win they get a half a page write up, when they lose you cant even find one line about the game. that win on fri nite by brookfield shoud have had one hell of a write up, but there was nothing, so ill say it, BROOKFIELD CENTRAL BEATS THE MIGHTY MARQUETTE 30-29.

i remember the article last year when the journal sentinal depicted marquette as the big bully after MUHS beat T'east. Looking up the article-they made Bartel and the Hilltoppers sound like devil-worshippers and tosa was made heroes. they've actually being pretty critical about Greater Metro football nowadays...

Or maybe they should save that space for an article covering the complete collapse of the Falls program.

Nice little inferiority complex you have going there.

The Journal loves to play their favorites, and its so recongizable..... Witrado is a hit or miss for preps sometimes its real signifiance other times its just crap, they need to expand their preps section as a whole.

At least Witrado does something and knows stuff, the crappy guys they had before didn't even know anything about hs sports.

i agree with that, inferiority complex, i dont think so, facts r facts viking, when a power house gets beat give credit to a program that beat them, after marq crushes the falls next week we will see how much space they get. even beating a crap team like the falls.

Im not convinced that you are as interested in celebrating or giving credit to upsets as you are wanting something negative written about Marquette. Your hatred for Marquette is obvious in your predictions. ANd there's nothing wrong with that. THat's the way conference rivalries should be.

And maybe Marquette does receive a little more attention. But then again maybe they've earned that through their prolonged success. Actually I think its good for the conference as a whole to promote the power teams in the conference. It brings attention to the quality of competition in the conference and if noting else, when upsets do occur they are that much sweeter for the winning teams, recognition or not.
