Well, week 2 is in the books and Black Hawk is the only team to be sitting at 2-0 in the conference. Potosti and Pec are both 1-0 in the league, but 2-0 overall, and that will change after the two teams collide this Friday at Pec/Argyle. I am 9-1 after the first two weeks of picking games and I hope I can keep it up after going 5-0 last week. Well, this is what my crystal ball says this week.

Belmont @ Black Hawk - I picked Belmont in week 1 for my only loss of the season thus far, fool me once shame on you, fool my twice shame on me. I do not think I will take Belmont the entire season after watching them at Platteville. The problem is, I like Eastlick as a coach, but he has not too much to work with. Black Hawk will roll to 3-0 and be able to rest there studs for the week 4 showdown with Pec. Final score: BH 42 Belmont 0

River Ridge @ Highland - Both teams had a great showing, but Highland still has no offensive touchdowns after 2 weeks. With a good Wolves defense coming to town, I sniff trouble for Highland. Ridge might struggle but I think they will win the game because of field position and they need more than 7 yards passing in two weeks to keep teams honest. Final score: Ridge 28 Highland 0

Shullsburg @ Cassville - This could be a very entertaining game for the fans, both teams are 1-1 and fighting to finish in that 4-4 range to make the playoffs. I do not see Cassville beating Shullsburg, I am taking the Miners...but I think Ackermann for Cassville scores 2 TDS. Finals : Shullsburg 20 Cassville 14

Benton @ Wauzeka - Wauzeka stinks, and Benton will be 2-1 after this game. Final- Benton 27 Wauzeka 7

Potosi @ Pec - This is it, Potosi can make the jump they have been waiting for if they can go down to Pec and get a win. Pec is coming off 2 tuff opponents and Potosi has not played anyone as talented as Ridge or Darlington yet. If Burkeland is in the game ... Like he always is.. Pec wins. Final - Pec 21 Potosi 7

Should be fun to watch. Good luck to all, and stay healthy

Picking in the 6 Rivers is as much a guessing game as predicting! Anyway, here goes again:
Black Hawk over Belmont -- As much as I would love to pick Belmont, it just isn't going to happen. Black Hawk is way too tough!
River Ridge over Highland -- I don't care if they have a new receiver or not, one receiver won't get them enough offense to beat the T-Wolves.
Pec/Argyle over Potosi -- The injury scourge has hit the Chieftans!
Shullsburg over Cassville -- While the Comets have come on strong this year, the Miners have come on stronger.
Benton/Scales Mound -- Wauzeka may have a chance against North Crawford, but not the Zephyrs.
