That's what happens when fans vote. No one even knows who most of the Saints are unfortunately.

Since Favre & Brees are basically locks to make it for NFC quarterbacks, I will be PISSED if McNugget gets in over Rodgers.

Track record indicates that Favre won't go anyway. Not a big deal to him anymore. Rogers will be named to replace him...kind of ironic.

I think it's also a pretty safe bet that either the Vikings or Saints will be in the Super Bowl too, so at least 4 QBs should make it with Brees and/or Favre passing on the game...

Allen got 7.5 out of 12 sacks against the Packers... He might not break 15 for the year, which would be hilarious as it would prove that he cannot play against top OT. Wow, you get sacks on Orlando Pace (isn't he up for social security in a year or two?), and the horrible Packer OTs. Some stud he is.

Really? In 5 and a half years he has 70 sacks, 32 passes defensed, 2 ints, 19 forced fumbles, 10 recoveries, and 1 td. The man is the best DE in the league, he gets so many hits and near sacks, and his pass rush get guys like Ray Edwards and Pat Williams sacks. He has been extremely solid this season. He will get another 3-6 sacks this season and end up with another 15-20 sack season. You could make this argument for any player, that playing weaker competition inflates stats. With how efficient Minnesota's offense has been, its makes it even more amazing what Allen is able to do.

Very good player. Not "the best Defensive End in the league." He's high profile, he's got a great personality--but when teams game-plan for the Vikings D-Line, it all starts with Kevin Williams. Jared Allen does not get guys like Ray Edwards and Pat Williams sacks as much as Kevin Williams aids the other three.

He's stout against the run, but he's pretty overrated as a pass-rusher. However, when he gets a crack at the ball, he always seems to make a big play. You have to give him that--he's got a great nose for turnovers.

Yea you're right...those 43 sacks in 4 years he got while he was playing in KC were a product of his dominant line as well...
