The UW-Oshkosh Men's Basketball Team (29-3) won the NCAA D-3 National Championship Saturday night in Fort Wayne, IN, defeating Swarthmore College (PA) (29-4), 96-82.

The game was essentially won at the free-throw line where UWO held a 21 of 26 advantage over Swarthmore who converted 3 of only 4 attempts.

It was the 1st national title for the Titans in their 121-yr history of men's basketball. 

In 2018, UWO was the national runner-up, losing the championship game, 78-72, to Nebraska Wesleyan.

UWO teammates, Jack Flynn (Appleton West) & Adam Fravert (Marshfield), were named to the Final Four All-Tournament Team.   Flynn, who scored 33 points in the title game, was named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player.
