I remember right before the begining of the season, I swear I saw Kiper had him going #9 in the draft. Now, I can't even find him in the first round of any mock drafts. I mean I know he hasn't done anything this year, and now with his broken ankle, but isn't that a pretty big drop? Where do you guys see him going in the drat?

GB takes him in the 3rd, maybe the 2nd, only to find 2 years later that he is the best TE in the league(pass receiving anyways).

Look theres no doubt the injury will make him plummet. But there is no denying his ability. I would put his ability above that of Olsen coming out of college. He may even be a tougher match up then Dallas Clark was for many years against defenses. Mark my words, hes going to take a hit, but he is the type of TE teams would die to have. Something to throw downfield towards that comes outta the middle. That is an important piece in itself.
Only April, and I'm looking forward to Badger Football. Depressing!

It depends how he's healed from his injury for his pro day/combine. He should tear those events up if he is fully healed, although he won't be able to prove that he is a capable blocker. I'm predicting him to get picked in the 2nd round. However, I believe the Eagles used their franchise tag on LJ Smith this year and he could be a possibility for them in the late first round since they don't ask their TE's to do much blocking. He will flourish if he is in the right system.

I understand your posting. However, and I don't agree, I a problem of "what have you done for me lately"

No it's not about what have you done for me lately (Mike Williams was a top 10 pick), it's all about potential. Other than the Big 12 TE's, Brandon Pettigrew (OSU), Chase Coffman (Mizzou) and Germaine Gresham (OU, if he declares), I don't see anyone that could jump ahead of Beckum.
