Leon Washington rookie card is creating some heat for supposedly "obscene gesture" but he claims it is just a sign for his town. I think its too hard to tell, thoughts?

I don't find it offensive at all.

But the dude flashing stuff like that just shows how ignorant some of these young, black athletes can be.

There's no need for that stuff on a trading card or elsewhere, people don't care about where you're from.
