Who would you say is the best player to ever play baseball in packerland conference history?
Hall of Famer 20??

never heard of ceaser(sblb#7 give me a break) or qualman. and my post about ganz was all sarcasim... that kid was a tool. this isnt a fair question tho, because we can only remember players that played in the last few years

Dan Delforge from Oconto was really good

I am pretty sure he was 1st team all 4 years getting POY junior and senior

went to Valparaiso on scholarship but quit after like 2 tommy johns

thats a hard question but my choice would have to be Keil "mop top" Ganz from NEW... that kid was a flat out stud, he had a slider that started behind the batter and ended up in the dugout on the other side... and in bball, he carried that team... i mean those socks and the silky-smooth jumper from 8 feet and in... not to mention in baseball, he was never afraid to step off and challenge the ump's ruling on a call or throw one inside on a guy with the bases juiced, now that takes confidence... and his build, who can argue with a 6'6"- 110 lb frame? the kid was built

and those teeth...

Hmmmm....wasn't a Packerland pitcher recently drafted in the 2nd round and he isn't mentioned?

Ya, I'd go w/Erik as well. But also, Adam Bretel from SD. I think he's on some triple A team last time i heard...

lol that was really funny. Bretl played for the River City Rascals, which is an independent baseball team, not a triple A team. He played for them for around a month a got cut. But yes, he was a pretty decent pitcher, and still is, but not triple A material.

good call with wickman. for current packerland teams i would have to go with cordier or rubens based on pure high school success, i mean 0.00 era senior year was rediculous.

its tough to compete with big league all star. pieschek was very good too and so were just about everybody that played for gibraltar in the dynastic 70's glory days.
