Will any of the games be on the radio, esp the Roncalli vs Milwaukee Vincent game?

Thanks

I know 540 AM did some of the games and will broadcast them on tape delay...not the Roncalli game though.

Saw Roncalli/Vincent, King/WISCO and Hamilton/Dominican.

Saw Vincent led by one point entering 4th quarter before pulling away. What are your thoughts on the Roncalli team this season? How strong is Vincent supposed to be this year?

They looked to be your typical Roncalli team. Unfortunately, as the game wore on, the lid was on the basket for everyone but Stelzer, while Vincent's size and athleticism started leading to easy baskets.

I'm not sure where Vincent will end up this year. Behind four-year starter Marcus White, they are talented, but rather young with four freshmen seeing significant PT. My early guess is they finish third behind King and Washington.

With Jemell Posey back in the line-up, King had a little more offensive fire-power, but it was their patented defense which caused WISCO to play far more sloppily than usual. And down the stretch, King made shots and WISCO didn't.

WISCO will be fine and probably is a top 5 D2 team. King is King, the only difference with this year's team is there is no real standout player (meaning no high-level D1 player). Everyone has their role and they do it well.

The Dominican/Hamilton game was about as disappointing as a 6-point game featuring the #1 players in two separate classes could be.

Diamond Stone got in foul trouble early and never established much of a rhythm. On the bright side for Dominican, this allowed junior guard Tywon Bressler to have his coming out party as he carried the team through most of the game, finishing with 20 points.

I thought Dominican might have a tough road even in D4 without Wilson, but while Stone's supporting cast is nowhere near as good as it once was, it's clear that they have enough talent to still be the over-whelming favorite in that division.

Now, on to Hamilton. If anybody who has seen them play this year, or will see them play, can tell me just exactly what offense it is they are running it would be much appreciated. Best I can tell, it's some sort of 1-4 set where Looney stands on one side of the floor with his hand up, three guys stand on the other side and Kingsby dribbles around up top while nobody moves. Occasionally, the ball ends up in Looney's hands where he is immediately triple-teamed and either gets fouled or takes a tough shot while everyone else continues to stand around.

Looney himself seems like he's already got his head in sunny L.A. Having seen the kid play for the last three years, the player tonight was hardly recognizable. Once a beast on the offensive glass, I don't recall one offensive rebound, and in fact, he was 30 feet from the basket a lot tonight when his teammates did attack the basket. The player I watched tonight was not the high-effort guy I was used to seeing. And defense? Looney played like he was under strict orders not to foul anybody and the rest of Hamilton's team was constantly out of position. Dominican missed a ton of open looks in this one and quite frankly, should have won by more.

Look, it was always gonna be harder once Diener left and Burrell transferred. Most of Hamilton's team plays hard (Norwood is constantly flying around and cleaning up on the glass), but the truth is, their overall depth is lacking and I'm sure the constant triple- and quadruple teams are wearing on Looney.

As I said on Twitter, I'm just gonna say that you can tell Diener's not their coach anymore, and leave it at that.
