I am sure Kaijen will be happy to know Pujols won something.

I am glad Torii Hunter won one, especially being injured a bit this year. I'm glad to see a player sign a pretty big contract and produce even better than he did when he was with the Twins.

Don't forget the Hank Aaron Award, Sporting News Player of the Year, Players choice award for player of the year, soon to be name MLB.com hitter of the year, and MVP. But yeah, I am happy that he won something.

No he didn't lb. But you know as well as I do that if Pujols felt he needed those numbers to get the Cardinals to the playoffs he would have had those numbers covered by August 1st.

Just for kicks what numbers would Pujols have had if he had the same opportunities that Braun did? Conservatively 210 hits, 55 HR's, 130 runs scored and 155 RBI's? How about a high side of 225 hits, 58 HR's, 175 RBI's & 140 runs scored?

It probably would have been somewhere in between.

I was giving you crap.

But same opportunities? I don't get that. What because he got walked more, he didn't have the same opportunities? I don't think all of those walks were intentional. Maybe if he expanded his strike zone a little.

But please...same opportunities? Explain that one.

He basically did that, especially after that last series in Milwaukee in September. He struggled quite a bit those last 3 weeks while sitting on 47 homers.

Ya, but did Pujols do this? I don't think so.

- Braun also became the eighth player in Major League history with at least 100 runs, 100 RBIs, 200 hits, 30 homers, 20 stolen bases and a .300 average in the same season.
