3.5 years of Matthew Boyd is going to take Keston Hiura.  Detroit's not going to just give him away so it will have to be a pretty significant return to move him.

Not the prettiest of affairs, but the Brewers found a way to get a much needed 6-5 win today. After a shaky first five innings, the bullpen set down the final 13 Reds to seal the victory.

Brewers announce Adrian Houser as the starter for Wednesday against the Mariners.  A starter is needed, but I am not sure I take him from the pen and the success he has had.  He has become one of the few reliable relievers outside of Hader and leaves a big hole in the pen.  Two things - he has not been stretched out as a starter and will only probably get 3-4 innings, so that will result in using multiple guys.  And, as pointed out, he has been really good and filing his spot will be tough.  I know a starter is needed, but I would have rather seen the start go to Wilkerson or Smith and leave Houser where he has been.

Beating a dead horse here - but see Hiura going deep again last night for his 17 hr in San Antonio.  In the meantime, Travis Shaw is hitting .165.  If that doesn't change this week - Stearns has to pull the plug.  Things are going to get away.  Luckily the Cubs can't get out of their own way right now or it could be a 4-5 game deficit.  Experts say you can't win a pennant in July, but you can lose it.

Brewers with a very Brewers'y 7-5 victory on Sunday...ya know, getting out to a 7-0 lead and letting the other team make their way back in it.
