The old post seemed to be a little inactive, so I started this one.

Figured I'd do a little sortin here...

These were the Senior players selected All-State 1st Team and Honorable Mention and the Sections they are in. I realize that the argument may start up again about "He shouldn't be there," or "He should be there." I also realize that there are good players that did not make All-State that are playing for their section. If anyone has those players that are not All-State, but are playing, bring them up. I can't find the rosters anywhere.

Section 1::
F (HM) Shawn Graskey, Superior
F (HM) Brian Pierpont, Superior
F (HM) Matt Mullendore, Amery

D (HM) Ethan Hayes, Webster

Section 2::
F (1st Team) Isaiah Bennis, Eau Claire Memorial

D (HM) Jordan Speros, Hayward

G (1st Team) Al Armour, Hayward
G (HM) Kevin Lebert, Lakeland

Section 3::
F (1st Team) Scott Pavelski, SPASH
F (HM) Brody Zebro, Mosinee
F (HM) Alex Molski, SPASH

D (HM) Andy Schroeder, Antigo
D (HM) Mike Hicks, Northland Pines

G (HM) Hunter Tesmer, DC Everest

Section 4::
F (HM) Anthony Knuth, Wisconsin Rapids

D (1st Team) Alex Gerke, Tomah
D (1st Team) Josh Nelson, Wisconsin Rapids
D (HM) Darth Denter, Tomah

G (1st Team) Nick Niceswanger, Tomah

Section 5::
F (1st Team) Ryan Smet, Fond du Lac
F (1st Team) Ian Andrews, Sheboygan
F (HM) Will Mitchell, Neenah
F (HM) Derek Teachout, Waupun

D (1st Team) Tyler Gross, Fond du Lac

G (1st Team) Randy Willis, Fond du Lac

Section 6::
F (HM) Jacob Esche, Madison West

D (HM) Kurtis Muller, Sun Prairie

G (HM) Andy Scheib, Sun Prairie

Section 7::
F (HM) Andy Michels, Kettle Moraine
F (HM) Braden Zehner, Stoughton

D (1st Team) Evan Jeszka, Kettle Moraine
D (HM) JD Frank, Kettle Moraine

G (HM) Dustin LeClaire, Kettle-Moraine
G (HM) Casey Stern, McFarland

Section 8::
F (1st Team) Tedd Falk, Homestead
F (1st Team) Karl Burns, USM
F (1st Team) Zach Kohn, Arrowhead
F (HM) Spencer King, Homestead

D (HM) Sam Wright, Homestead

G (HM) John Schroeder, Homestead

I excluded Erstad and Johnson considering they are playing in the USHL. If any of these players are not playing, feel free to correct my list.

This being said, who do you think stands the best chance? I'd have to say Section 8 has the best offense. You can't argue with the line of Kohn, Falk, and Burns. Section 4 with the D, with Niceswanger leading the charge. Section 5 and 7 are the ones closest to 4 and 8 in my opinion. I'd have to say, even though I don't want to, Section 6 looks to be the weakest.

Anybody else?

section 5 wont be as good without willis. losing willis is a huge hole to fill with not to many good goalies from the area that are seniors. should be interesting. also, JJ McBride is playing for section 5, he played for caps U18 this past season.

Section 4's Defense will be super solid. Nicewanger in the goal, Nelson, Denter, and Gerke will cause problems for anyone.

Offense might be a little weak, but, those 4 in the D will make up for it IMO.
A Playoff will not be any more fair than the BCS.

Any Results from the scrimmages yesterday?

I was told that Section 1 looked good beating section 2 5-2. No one has mentioned them yet.

Put in any other scores
