he was one of the kids who wanted to go pro in HS but the one and done wouldn't let him. he went to Nova for one year and ended up staying all 4. never hear about kids like him mentioned in the straight to the pro's arguement.

Gani Lawal has withdrew his name from the NBA Draft and will head back to Georgia Tech. I know GT struggled last season, but they showcased the type of talent they have in the ACC Tournament, taking out Clemson and giving FSU all it could handle, losing on an Iman Shumpert miss.

This will be a pretty young team, but talented when we see them this coming season. Not only do they return Lawal (potential Conference POY), but they bring in some highly touted recruits that includes the #1 center, Derrick Favors. Paul Hewitt can now move Gani Lawal back to his natural PF position, fill Favors in at Center and you have yourself a very good frontcourt.

In the backcourt, Iman Shumpert will be even better. He should be a very solid option once again. Couple that with Maurice Miller and you have yourself a solid, but not great backcourt.

Not sure what Hewitt will do with his fifth starter. He pretty much has Favors, Lawal, Shumpert, and Miller playing their natural positions. He could go with one of his freshmen, I guess.

Okay I'm sorry, but I would love to see him come back if I'm another Big East team. I've never quite seen the hype on him. He scored 23 ppg this year but had to shoot 45% to do it, which is no where near what a dominant big man should be shooting. Watching him he fades away from the basket all the time and takes a ton of stupid shots. He is a below average passer and cant create opportunities out of the double team when he gets them. And he is a liability on defense and gets taken advantage of all the time. He can score, but the love he gets is a little too much to handle sometimes for me. Sorry just my rant on him.

I like what Scottie Reynolds is doing. Go to school, get an education (if he really is getting one) so you have something to fall back on if basketbal doesn't work out, and declare for the draft with all your college elgibility used up and when you'll be the most ready to help a team out. Good thinkin kid.

I know this topic is about Scottie Reynolds, but Greivis Vasquez withdrew his name from the Draft. Another year of this guy carrying the Terps...
