Like most towns la Crosse is giving a lot of attention to their teams at state. Today the Tribune had a bunch of articles on the team. Here's a link to an interview with Scott Christopherson. He sounds like a kid with his head on straight. A couple of comments are pretty funny. If you want to see the other articles, back space the address to aquinas/ ...

"I know a lot of kids in the Milwaukee area, and that?s (mostly) public schools. That?s where the recruiting?s going on, but people don?t want to talk about that. People are going to say what they want to say about recruiting. If the WIAA wants to put rules in about transferring, that?s fine, just keep it for both private and public."

Ballsy statement...albeit pretty accurate perception.

That was a great interview from a good kid who can play b-ball. I saw him at the WBY in December and he's the real deal. I look forward to seeing the D-3 games and how that will turn out. Should be interesting as I think James Haarsma and his team are very good too.
Should be a great tournament!
May our dear Lord's PEACE be with you and yours always and forever.

He IS a great kid. I think any team in D3 could win. each is a bad night away from a loss. Or, I guess, a great night from an opponent from a loss.

It seems each of the semis is one of those irresistable force vs. immovable object type of match-ups. It should be fun.
