What kinda numbers are we lookin at today. I was at the TM-Nicolet game, but as far as I heard..

Wauk. West over Greendale by 2 scores or so
Wauk. South over Whitnall in a squeaker
Pewaukee blanked Greenfield 29-0 or something, they look good
WFB over St. Francis by 3 or 4 scores, may have been a shutout
NB West over Grafton 6-0
Tosa West over Hamilton (?) like 27-9
TM over Nicolet 27-14
No word on the anticipated Ike game

I was at the TM-Nicolet game, and the game wasn't as close as the score to be honest. TM isn't clicking as well as last year but still put up a gaudy 450 yards of offense. Defense looked alright, half of Nicolet's yards came on two big plays. They still have some glitches to fix, but if they eliminate that big play potential on defense they are definitely better than the 2-7 record someone predicted before.

That said, they go up against what looks like a good, good Pewaukee team next week. Hard to say how far they could go now, because who knows how good or not so good Greenfield is, but I caught a little tape of their game tonight and they are decent. Nobody's really talked about them much yet, but with St. Francis getting shut out and no word on Ike I'd say Pewaukee is at least a sleeper at the moment. We'll see.

We honestly played the worst game in my career tonight. We came out cocky against a surprisingly better Hamilton squad and 1st Quarter we fumbled on the two yard line and in the Second Quarter we got a offensive pass intereference call on the 10 yard line which I didn't think was true but we lost 15 yards. Lots of fumbles tho and a very sloppy game for us. We turned it on in the 4th tho but we didn't want it early on. Hamilton outplayed us early on but we have more talent and strength than they do. Still beat them 27-9 but it should've been more around 40-9. Win is a win tho I guess but we will not repeat what happened this week against Cudahy next week.

When I say better Hamilton squad I mean that they are better than they have been in years past. The coaching staff has done a nice job there. We were looking more forward to next weeks game against Cudahy focusing on Hamilton. Our team is looking past this game but it will be in the back of our minds.

Congrats to the Tosa West Squad. Hamilton had some opportunities but failed to capitalize during the 1st thru 3rd quarters. We honestly feel that we beat ourselves on that night. Our RB play was poor and our overall sp. teams was even worse (missed ex. pt., long snap problems in 1st and 3rd period).
Also, in regard to the pass interference call, from our sideline you could see the push-off, but that was "iffy" at best.

Biggest highlight of the night for me was the drive to start the 3rd qtr which resulted in 15 plays and a TD and almost 8 minutes of clock.

Honestly, I love West's stadium set up but absolutely hate the field. The field grass is very high and the ground was very giving, that really hurt us a little bit because in terms of team speed I feel we were a bit faster.

What was your opinion of #66, our DT? He is a senior but only a first year football player. We are excited about him and hope he can only get better.

Anyway, good luck to you vs. Cudahy. The West coaching staff is a class act IMO, and the players for West played with some good enthusiasim.

Our team was dead in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. We had a lot of people cramping up and we were short on linebackers before the game with only 4 suiting up because of 3 injuries. I don't think that the rotation on the d-line was all that good for us as I played the whole 1st quarter both ways and most of the 2nd. 3rd quarter I was dead but the 4th I was more refreshed than at any point in the game.
As for the condition of the field, if this were on Tuesday you would've loved how the field looked. The grass looked a lot better. They should've cut it on Thursday.
#66 was a damn good player. Myself and Ryan Hamm and some other linemen were talking about how he reminded us of Eric Brunner in terms of Speed, Strength, and Size after the game. He has a little bit more to learn about the game, but we all have something to learn. He tackles hard but sometimes you could tell he guessed which way to go. Often times tho he would break up our Triple Option because he went deep into the backfield which isn't the smartest thing to do, but he did cause damage. In the Triple Option we read the DT and the guard goes for the linebacker.

I gotta give Hamilton a lot of props though, they played their hearts out and are much improved from last year. Cudahy is going to be challenge, going to that stadium is not a fun trip.

Stop talking about coming in cocky. The kids from Tosa West and Greenfield have nothing to be cocky about. Greendale, Pewaukee, hell even St. Francis can come into a game cocky. They've won stuff before. Neither Tosa nor Greenfield has so neither team has any reason to come in cocky, especially Greenfield playing a Pewaukee team that everyone knew was gunna mop up you guys.

NBWestPlaya, If you are a guy from East just say it don't make up a name pretending to be somebody else. New Berlin West had a game the same day and time as we did, why weren't you there? I don't get your random attack on me either what was the point of it? All I said about our game is we came in way too cocky and bigheaded. Nothing else.
Also for the record I actually played a pretty good game on the line and I got myself a safety on Defense so I was pretty happy with my performance. Playing both ways for almost the entire game in the 1st game of the year is what I blame any bad plays that I made on.
