Brookfield Central beat Tosa West I believe 48-42 in overtime. Quite honestly, (and I am upset right now) that was probably the most poorly officiate game I have seen in a long time. Tosa West controlled that whole game and were leading by about 7-8 througout. To have two men in striped shirts decide their destiny is absolute ****. Tosa West was the better of the two teams, I honestly can't believe how Brook Central is a one (I am bitter right now, but I am dead serious). Nonetheless I am also upset that we had to have such a poor seeding and play on the road in our second game.

Basically, Tosa West controlled the tempo and completely shut down Brook Central. Rico Combs followed out with about 4 minutes left with TW up by 6, 3 of which were offensive (terrible) and two were touch fouls on Korslin. I am so angry right now, but I'm being as honest as possible. Tosa West shut down BC and BC should be extremely thankful that they won.

I agree that BC was definately not the better team. They really pulled it together in OT, but that was the best that they played all game.

Poor officiating at both Brookfield Central games today.

Question.. could Tosa West send in a tape of the game and have it reviewed. They wouldn't reverse the win I am sure but the refs might get fired.

I think that Tosa could send the game in and have it reviewed. I'm sure the refs could get suspended or something but they wouldnt get fired. The refs werent really that one sided, just a lot of bad calls overall, but only a few more bad ones on TW than BC

some tick tack fouls were called on Tosa(like Rico fouling out) but I didn't think the game was awfully done. BC just stepped up at the end and Tosa didn't have their best player so it swung that way.

Somewhat I agree with that, we were up by 8 and went conservative instead of just going balls out runnin the score to about 12ish. Alotta like Marquette at times they had the "foot on the throat but they didnt stomp on it". But in the final three minutes TW couldnt touch a BC player without a whistle being blown.

IMO, each team was on the losing end of one of the worst two calls. The one against BC was at the end of the 3rd quarter (or was it the 2nd?) when BC was down two and rico got the ball in the corner. He drove, his arm clearly extended, pushed nortman over, stepped back and nailed a jumper.

The one against TW was either in the 4th or in overtime (I think the 4th) Tosa West had Eric Gordon trapped by halfcourt on the right side of the court. He was trying to call timeout but then they called a touch foul on one of the TW players. Gordon then made both free throws and cut the lead to two.
