I didn't know this was happening otherwise maybe I would have attended. Would liked to have seen this. Would liked to have seen Anderson and Thomas see if they would be able to contribute anything out there. Looks like they were letting them go out and just play.

Neither Anderson or Thomas played in the scrimmage, along with Northern Illinois transfer Owen Hamilton....

I just hope Davison and King get a clean bill of health this year for their last season with Happ. Also nice that King qualified for a medical redshirt last year.

Other than that I have no idea what to expect from this team.

I do have to have a chuckle at Shawna Nicols becoming a renowned DJ. Didn't see that coming for the former Pius and UW standout.

One of the obvious changes is Nate Reuvers.  He is now a man.  Listed at 240 - he is clearly a lot thicker and stronger.  He held his own against Happ inside and walled him up and Happ couldn't back him down.  Pritzel also looks good.  Much stronger and leaner.  He appears more active and quicker off his feet.  People will like Strickland and he appears to be your typical Badger guard.  And I have said it before and will stick with it, even though he did not play yesterday, Trev Anderson will help this team.

The physical changes of many of the players is very evident.  If this team can make some shots and pick up their defense, they will be fine.  This team has a lot of talent and now has the physicalness to match up with most teams.  The early schedule has some challenges, but a couple of wins will give this team confidence it can compete.

I want Pritzl muddy the waters more. Wished Bronson was that type. Maybe Brevin isn't that type.

If they stay healthy, I have a strong hunch the Badgers are the surprise team of the Big 10 this season (i.e. 4th-place finish).

Everything else being copacetic (Ethan Happ's expected performance, a healthy Kobe King, D'mitrik Trice & Brad Davison, Brevin Pritzl's outside shooting and Kahlil Iverson's physical inside play), an improved & effective Nate Reuvers is the key, IMO.
