Pujols is crying about not winning the NL MVP. He said that he doesn't think Howard should have got it because he doesn't think someone who doesn't lead their teams to the playoffs should get it.

Personally, I don't think it matters if you make the playoffs or not, it's a regular season award. Did Pujols have better numbers in a lot of the categories? Yes. However, he needs to shut his mouth. I am sick of Albert Pujols and he's making me hate him more and more everyday. You didn't win the MVP, big deal, you won the World Series. Stop whining and keep your mouth shut from now on.

...actually I agree with Rodey on this one....Albert needs to keep his mouth shut on this, the media is looking for anything to spin him in a negative light and bingo this would be it. The MVP last year was nice but I would defiantly take the World Series title. Unfortunately, if Albert keeps up like this, he's going to get an attitude of being surly and moody like Bonds....Nothing is ever really gonna make me dislike Albert because of all the good he does for his charity and others who need it but he isn't making new fans like this.

What a women, you lost big deal? Just because the Phils didnt make the playoffs, gives Pujos no reason to think he deserved the MVP. I dont believe Howard was hurt for a significant time this year so how can you call someone an MVP if they missed 3-4 weeks? My respect for Albert is slowly decreasing.
http://chuckcorner.blogspot.com- Please Comment, I finally am starting to work on this on a consistant basis. Would love to hear your thoughts.

did you see his stats? he did deserve the MVP...Howard led in 2 categorys, thats it. BUT Albert shouldn't be bitching about not getting MVP this year especially after the World Series title.

First off.... Pujols is having a bad case of 'Roid Rage.

Secondly, Pujols may have made it to the playoffs (and then won the WS), but Howard not only single-handedly carried his team from August on, he also carried his team to more wins than Pujols did.....

Playoffs Albert? Just be glad you were benefitted from playing in the worst division in baseball and finished only a half game ahead of Houston, nearly blowing your 8 game lead with 12 to play!!!!

Not to mention the Phillies traded a ton of players at the trade deadline and basically gave up but Howard brought them to the brink of a playoff berth. Phillies still suck though.

Hi, my name is Albert Pujos. I just won a World Series, something every player dreams of, but many never do. Instead of being happy, I'm going to bitch like a little girl because I didn't win an MVP award.

Ok everybody, I am probably as big of an Albert Pujols fan as MNBC is a fan of Koby but he has no business to be complaining publicly. That's our job to be
doing that.

After saying that, he really did get "ripped" by not winning the MVP. (there is that word again, I guess it can mean anything from drunk, sculpted, tear or fat) Howard came to bat with about 100 more runners on base than Albert did and
had only about 12 more rbis. Howard was also not very good with runners in scoring position, runners in scoring position with 2 outs and hitting in the late innings. He was also no where near the defensive player that Albert was.

Call Albert whatever you want, but make sure you include World Champion.

I think most people are really jealous that they don't have, never had and never will have a player on their team the caliber of Albert Pujols--World Champion.

I never really like Pujols, but I respected him. This really bothers me that he would say something like this, I thought he was a good respectable guy. I guess not as much as I thought. Besides, we all know Billy Hall deserved the MVP
