?? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?1st Team
1)Jimmy Whitehead-AQ (MVC MVP) 2)Trevor Jorgenson-Log?
3) Michael Price-Ona
4) Michael Hanson-AQ
5) Bobby Juan-Cen

?? ? ? ? 2nd Team
1) Jordan Laufenberg -Spa
2)Nick Smith- Hol
3)Bronson Schultz- Tom
4)Jordan Knuston- Hol
5) Ryan Ledvina- Cen

Other hopefuls- Kevin Rassmunsen(Spa), Sam Kube(Hol), Joel Sweeny(Tom), Matt Eggen(Log),Garret Schultz(Cen), Adams(Ona)

Standings(MVC games only)
1)Aquinas-12-0 (Jimmy is to much for any MVC defender and Hanson has a great stroke for a big man)
2)Central-8-4(Juan is toughest player in the MVC and Ledvina is an above average shooter)
3)Logan-8-4(Jorgenson is going to be looking for help all year)
4)Onalaska-7-5(Price is the hardest worker in the MVC, and Adams is solid)
5)Sparta-4-8( Laufenberg has the all around game)
6)Holmen-2-10( Smith is one of the top better guards and Knutson is a solid big man)
7)Tomah-1-11( Schultz has a great basketball IQ, and Sweeny is as tough as they come)

Michael Price? Really?

And gimme a break with Aquinas, is Whitehead going to take on every team on his own?? Hanson gets hot from the outside SOMETIMES, but nothing is guaranteed with the kid, and he's slow.?

And Ledvina should be first team.?

Your response confuses me a bit. ?Your display name is blugoldballer, but you shoot down Aquinas? ? Correct me if i'm wrong but I think "Aquinas is the blugolds? ?But with your comment on Ledvina shows a Central side of things so I'll guess your from there. ? Back to why Jimmy will without a DOUBT take over the MVC. ?He is pre-season ranked #1 IN ALL WISCONSIN D3 PLAYERS as the top finisher and top floor leader on the home page! ?Also under recent articles you might find something that says TOP WISCONSIN PERIMETER SHOOTERS. ?Michael Hanson( you know the kid you said SOMETIMES get hot from the outside) is #3 on that list for D3. ?Not to mention that those players are based on their statistics, so he has good reason to be put there. ?Now you might think I'm a bit biased towards AQ, but the truth is I went to Holmen so you can throw that thought out. ?Ledvina is small and can only shoot. That is not what the MVC likes to put on 1st team.... sorry to break your heart. Bobby Juan is my surprise player of the MVC this year, and I really like his game. Great defender and tough inside the a nice mid-range jumper. With me being from Holmen I saw Michael Price at the YMCA every single day working on his game. Yes every SINGLE day! ?Not many high school players take that upon themselves, as most of them play of their pure athletic ability. Thanks for your response though Bulgoldballer!

Tyler Adams needs to be considered in the top 10 in the conference. Their new coach is going to be very happy to have a solid guard running the show his first two years.....not many teams in the conference will have better.

I agree, Adams could easily be 2nd team all conference, and he probably is a top ten player in the conference. ?Remember that "all conference" players are decided by the coaches, not by fans or anyone else. ?I feel Adams will get the short stick because the Tomah, Sparta, and Holmen coaches are going to get their say. ?

Like I said.... those Tomah, Sparta, and Holmen coaches will get their say. ?Those teams are likely to have bad years, and on every bad team, there is one player who does the majority of the scoring. ?Now those coaches are going to push really hard for at least one of their players to get 1st or 2nd team, where teams like Logan, AQ, and Ona are going to ask for more because they have more than ONE quality player. ?With that said, I feel Adams will be deserving of one of those teams, but might not get it because the Ona coach will also push Price hard, unlike a Tomah coach who might say "all I'm asking is for one guy."?

What does "I feel Adams will get the short stick because the Tomah, Sparta, and Holmen coaches will get their say." If Adams is one of the best players he will get voted for!

Ha ha i've heard that before.... Aquinas shouldn't be D3, D4, D7, D10 or whatever, and you can aruge both ways. ?Fact is it won't change, though I, as much as the next guy, would like to see how they fair in D1 or D2 playoffs. ?I would guarantee they would have around 4 less state championships or so.
