Port Washington advanced to the sectional finals with a 58-40 win over Life-Long Learning/Ronald Reagan. Port started slow but managed to pull ahead 12-9 by the end of the first quarter, then led by something like 31-13 at half. LLL had it's best quarter in the third and cut the lead a little, but Port pulled away again in the 4th. Prom had 17, Gasser 13, Heileman and Burmesch 8 each and DeBoer added 7. Sophomore Marty Clark only had 3, but his buckeet -- at the 1st half buzzer, seemed to really sink the Wizards' morale.
Smith led LLL with 13.

The win sets up an "All-Pirate" sectional final with Pewaukee Saturday night. However it turns out, it's been a great tournament run for Port and 1st-year coach John Bunyan.
