Matchups are as follows-
Southeast
Dodgeland @ #1 Cedar Grove
Oostburg @ #4 Shoreland Lutheran
Random Lake @ #2 Marshall
Northeast
Amherst @ #3 Howards Grove

Now the question is who wins? Who gets upset? Who has the best chance to go deep?
Anyone disagree with where they got put?

actually, howards got a bad draw. Ahmherst is tough, lost to some big skools if i remember correctly. but ill root for anyone in the clc to go far... til they play us of course
I'd rather run 90 yards down the field destroyin people instead of running 90 yards away from people

I think everyone has a shot. Oost. should pull the upset and howards plays tough no matter what. We should handle dodgeland i hope. I dont want to sound like a douche but everyone thinks the CLC sucks. lets get our name out there and kick some ass.

Well Oostburg pretty much played Shoreland no matter what, just played Howards for home field advantage.
As for Howards, I'd want a much easier game if i was a 3 seed, but we'll see i guess.
And Cedar Grove will do good work.

Random Lake idk how they'll do. 53 against Cedar Grove is no good

Actually, don't be surprised to see RL in that next round. Marshall plays in a week conference while Random Lake's competition from non-conference to conference was probably an A schedule for a D5 school. Coach Bichler is a good coach, and does have good players. Jake Miller runs hard, and if Coach B can get the line working out, you never know. Don't count them out.

This week i think that all CLC teams will prevail to the second round. CG should breeze by dogeland like they have been by teams all season. Howards i think got the worst draw of any CLC team to make the playoffs this year. CG-B runs wild winning 40-7 They play a tough Amherst team that i think is very underrated cuz they play in the same conference as state d6 powers pacelli and shiocton do. I still think they'l win 28-20. Oostburg in my opinion got the best draw u could ask for for a playing a 4 seed. Shorland lutheran plays in a awful conference and lost to some bad teams. Although they beat martin luther about the same as oost. did they had they're starters in for alot longer. I got oosty wiining 28-14. As for random lake i think this will be a great game. Marshal is another team that got ranked high for theyre conference champ in a awful conference. Random will not beat them bit but i got them winning 28-24 in a close one.

If HG wins they play Northern Elite (probably) who looks to be good but plays in a shatty conference. Maybe an upset there...idk... and if oosty and CG-B advance they will play again. That will be very interesting because you cant host 2 home playoff games so they'l play at ossty again on that new field..i heard its nice tho.. Random then would prolly play cambridge..that could also be a very good game seeing as how both team got killed by CG-B

As CLCfootball said....lets show everyone that they CLC isnt a shatty conference and lets win some games!

I think the CLC got about as good a draw as they could have expected.

CGB should advance, without seeing dodgeland on film it is hard to see how teams match up with each other, but I think the CGB should handle them pretty easily.
OO has a winable game, it will be interesting to see how they respond after Thursday. I know they played each other a few years ago in the first round, where Veldhorst cut his hand in the locker room. But they've got a good chance, their offense is hard to replicate in practice.
HG amherst does play in a pretty good league, Shiocton I know is a physical ball club, and they run the bone, and are very good at it. Don't know much about Amherst, but if HG gets outside they should find a lot of success. Hopefully, they didn't get too up for OO.
RL play Marshall, a tradition pack team. They usually have a lot of athletes, they played OZ in 2002 (1st round) and went to State, they have been there a couple of times, and maybe have won it. But RL will be a physical game, and Mrashall isn;t always a physical ball club, so maybe RL can grind out the clock, and play keep away with the ball.

IF CG and OO both advance OO will host because they were on the raod for the first round. IF shorland wins then the game will be at CG, you can host more than one round in the playoffs just as long as they higher seed wins.

Good Luck to all the teams, represent the CLC as the best you can.

Back and forth game the whole time because... yup... Oostburgs defense... Not good..But the offense made up for it... Just a comment about Shoreland... They were overall a very clean team untill the end when they started spitting on us, and when we were kneeling, they ran us over... lol.. should have expected it, but they went ape. Their number 7.... a sophmore QB has great promise for the future.. Very good
