Has anyone had this stuff, or Mountain Dew Throwback? Wow, it is amazing how much better actual sugar is than corn syrup.

Which is why I like to buy some Mexican Coke at Copp's or Woodman's once in a while since that's made with sugar instead of corn syrup.

I like the Pepsi throwback a bit better, but the Mountain Dew throwback is amazing! It's such a great sweetness, almost to the Surge level (I don't know, maybe it's just me). It just seemed that much better, but also it may be since I hadn't had Mountain Dew, regular with corn syrup, for quite some time. I wish they could just stay with the sugar. []

Pretty sure that says pop, not soda. I am old enough to have been around back in the days when there were soda fountains, and those taste a lot different than a can of pop. So when it says it has been that long since I had pop, I mean pop, not soda.

Fixed. []

hahaha,

What would be more fun?

A water fountain that shoots soda?
or
A Bubbler that shoots pop?

I hate the new Mountain Dew. Maybe it's because I'm a fiend for MD and drink at least one a day, but it just tastes like crap to me. Maybe I'll have to try it out again though, but I'm sure I'll be disappointed.

I really like the Pepsi throwback. I have not tried the Dew throwback, but I hope they just stick with using sugar.

Just because its made with real sugar I had to give it a try, its better than normal Pepsi, but still no Coke. The mexican cokes made with real sugar still take the cake. Well aside from Sprecher Cherry Cola that is.

Deinitely my hierarchy right now:

1) Sprecher Cherry Cola
2) Mexican Coke (tastes just like I remember in my childhood)
3) A & W Rootbeer in a frosty glass

Pepsi throwback is pretty decent.

I need to try the Mtn. Dew throwback... I still can remember seeing the bottles sitting on the ledge at my neighbor's stairwell... "What's that - mountain dew?" .... "Hillbilly P***" ... cracked open a bottle, and I was addicted.

If the throwback tastes anything like it did in the 1970s and early 80s, you all should go buy stock in Pepsico, cause I'm gonna buy a TON!
