Not going to rip anybody here, just wondering how the officials are determined for State? Travis or Norbert if you know, I am curious, thought there were some really young crews. Also I wonder if 20 sectional final boys games hurts the crop of available officials for Saturdays Girls Finals. I watched almost all of the games and as a whole the crews did a real nice job, I tried to pay attention to see if different parts of the State call the game differently.

There really seemed to be a lot of young crews. I can think of 4 games specifically where I thought there was no way some of the officials had at least 5 years experience at the varsity level.

For Saturday, I thought the D5 crew called it the tightest, really consistent on the hand checks and arm bars. I thought the D2 crew was the best of the 5 on Saturday, those ladies did a great job, I have seen them do a lot of D3 college games in Wisconsin. I thought the D1 crew really looked young and they never really caught up to the speed of the game. With a High D1 college player I thought there would have been a more experienced crew or at least a crew that does college games. Two of those officials looked younger than Arike.
