We have one up for defense so mise well start one for offense. what are thoughts. i would say Dunkleberger or Schroeder at qbs with Mcbride, Cooper, and Rice at tailbacks like last year. The line will def. go to lodi this year. tight end will be a toss up between Eternick, Bauman, and Janish. Idk about wide reciever tho because most of the teams offenses are ran around their tight ends.

Klocek from Lake Mills may have a shot as a WR

It doesn't matter if he has more upside, which I doubt he does. Were talking about this year and Phil Behl definitely deserves a spot. I honestly don't remember number 51 from lake mills at all. I'm a defensive back so maybe thats why...?

I strongly disagree with fb4life, meyers is alot tougher and catches everything that is thrown to him. I dont know about behl getting on, i think # 51 from lake mills strasburg has more upside and could be better.

[link=http://www.wissports.net/sports/football/confseasonstats.asp?year=2008&cid=6&catID=1]Here's[/link] a link to the conference stats on this website. I'm not sure if they're all accurate or not but its the best we have for now I think.
Here's my breakdown:

Qb: Jon Schroeder/ Nick Dunkelberger The only two quarterbacks who stood out at all. They both have almost identical stats and it's a tough call. Schroeder did miss almost all of one game so that affected his stats a little. Dunkelberger was the better qb when they met head to head though.

Rb: 1. McBride
2. Rice The second best back in the conference pretty easily from his stats and also from what I saw. I know Cooper split a lot of carries but I think Rice is simply a better runner and on a different level.

FB: Columbus fb was probably the best pure fullback in the conference.
WR: Henrich and Shroeder from Prep were easily two of the top receivers in conference were 1/2 in catches and 2/3 in yards. Hayes led the conference in yards and had the biggest receiving game of the year. Klocek was 1st in tds and had a great last game but I don?t think he was consistent enough

TE: It's already been talked about a bunch on here Bauman from Lodi is my pick he was a solid receiver the best blocking TE in the conference by far. He would have had a lot more catches if Lodi needed to throw at all.

OL: Lodi had by far the best o-line in the conference and I think they should get most of the spots on here.

QB - Dunkleberger (LM) - Dunkleberger and John Schroeder, the top two QBs in the conference, faced each other on the last game of the year, and Lake Mills won comfortable. Dunkleberger outplayed Schroeder in that game and that's what should decide it. While I think that John Schroeder is a bit more talented and has the tools to play somewhere at the next level, he was too streaky. Some games he was lighting it up, and other games he couldn't hit anyone. He should have been a lot better than he was with Josh Schroeder and Scott Henrich at receivers.

RB - McBride (Lodi) - Best offensive player in the conference will be the Player of the Year and will be a really good college running back.
- Rice (Poynette) - Him and McBride are the class of the Capitol North at RB
- Cooper (Lakeside) - Finishes off the repeat for all three of these guys on first team All-Conference

WR - Schroeder (Luther Prep) - After being named 1st Team AC last year, Josh had another big year and is the top wide receiver in the Capitol North.
- Henrich (Luther Prep) - Scott had a big year and teamed up with Schroeder to form a big 1-2 punch at WR.
- Klocek (Lake Mills) - Really came on strong in the second half of the year.

TE - Eternick (Lakeside) - Best all-around TE in the Capitol North. Edges out Meyers from Lake Mills.

OL - Lodi and Poynette will each get 2, and Lakeside will get one. Dante Kuehl is also up there too.

Did you notice Jake Day's 249 yards rushing behind that line or were you to busy worry about who you where going to go after on your team?

Yes Jake Day had a hell of a game but look at the stats we didnt stop anyones run game so if you want to figure out all conference lineman by looking at what they did against prep the whole conference will make 1st team so yeah i didnt notice anyone worth mentioning oh and 77 of his yards came on his touchdown in the fourth quarter against the second string but he did have a very good game I wont take that away from him he ran extremely hard the entire night and I dont quite understand the rest of your comment
