Nice game for Port last night, easily getting past Nicolet 68-49. A little more balanced scoring as Gasser drops in 29. Nicolet seemed to struggle with their lineup, going small a number of times attempting to utilize their athleticism, but couldn't figure out how to penetrate Port's d. And with McClain, who's listed as 5'7", and probably is 5'5", trying to guard Gasser, it looked silly at times. Bowers had one or two flashes, but mostly Port made him look like a sophomore, easily keeping him away from the basket. For the Knights, I thought Henry and Washington looked good, and if they're going to do well, they need to focus on getting these kids the ball.

Anyone have a score for the Cedarburg-Germantown game last night?

The Gtown Cedarburg was like 65-44, Germantown. Averkamp, Showalter, Minsky, and Laubenheimer had big games for Germantown. Chip Rank was not what I expected. He hit some tough shots but nothing special... Maybe an off night?
