I wouldn't be all too suprised is Niagara did beat Kansas...

However, I still believe that if a 16-over-1 happens, it will be Central Conneticut State over Ohio State...

Last year I dabbled with the thought of Oral Roberts beating Memphis as 16-1... I chose not too -- then Albany nearly beat UConn for the potential 16-1 upset...

central conneticut state won't beat ohio state (unfortunately). central conneticut state plays 7 players, the tallest one is 6'4". their coach admitted that he really is more like 6'1 1/2". i just don't like their chances of beating ohio state.

i'm convinced that the first #1 seed to fall to a #16 seed will be kansas (maybe not this year but sometime).?last time kansas was a #1 seed holy cross was ahead of them until about 5 minutes left.

Their tallest player is 6'11" who barely plays as it is. Their tallest player that plays extended minutes is 6'7". With that being said, Central Conn. will not come close to Ohio State if that's the case. No one to stop Mike Conley's penetration, along with no one to come close to stopping Oden.

So you're saying a 3-2 zone against tOSU would be ineffective then? Just hope Harris and Conley don't kill you from the outside and try to push Oden out. I think it can be done. Will it, probably not, but it would be worth the try. Michigan seemed to get it to work.

Michigan is a far superior team than Central Connecticut State.

Michigan > CCS. There is a big difference when you have guys like Courtney Sims and Brent Petway down low opposed to a guy like Jemino Sobers who would be lucky to be 6'7".

Also, Conley isn't a guy to kill from the outside either. While he can make shots here and there, he is not the guy you should worry about burying shots. Aside from Harris, Butler and Lewis are the guys that need to be worried about. Cook is a streaky shooter, but can bury the trey here and there.

Longball just has an unnecessary hatred for Ohio State. I don't think he can recognize that they are a very good team.

I don't have a hatred for tOSU. I was just suggesting a way to defend them or try to defend them. Just throwing out ideas was all. Where do you get the hatred thing from?

Badgers last title-1941
Golden Eagles last title-1977 []

I think you have a problem here.....

Marquette guard Jerel McNeal will miss the first round of the NCAA tournament because of an injured right thumb. The sophomore has been sidelined for Marquette's last three games and won't play in the Golden Eagles' game against Michigan State on Thursday.
