Ya where is Mr. CARLOS who was saying Edison was going to win D3 or D4 or something like that this year.

Yeah I remember him and they probably would of if they were in the tournament and had all of their players. Their best three players didn't even play this season. I know that one of them was trying to get an appeal. I don't know what happen to the other two guys though who were both big men I believe.

Perhaps the MPS has it's own version of the rules.
Seems like they do on other fronts.

Not sure, but I'm guessing the kids from Riverside transferred to Thomas Edison just before the new transfer rule went into effect in late February. I will do some checking on that.

IIRC, a transfer declared for next year during the February open enrollment period that just ended would not be subject to the new rule, that is the last "free transfer" window.

Doubtful. With D3 regional finalist Malcolm X Academy closing following this school year and the fact that they were just late last year in getting their "papers filed", I'd fully expect to see Edison in next year's tournament.

Sportsfan will be happy to know that they're likely to be in Dominican and St. Cat's sectional anyway...[]

You are correct. This is the last year that you can transfer after your sophomore year.

Also to add another Riverside sophomore is transfering. I am hearing rumors about Issac Wadajo going to Rufus King in the coming weeks. That would be a nice acquisition for the Generals. Has anyone heard about that?

The WIAA should just make slightly different rules for the City since they can open enroll wherever they want since all the schools are under the same district.
