I disagree.

You get over 100 original series/specials/movies/documentaries all getting released throughout the year.

You get renewed content like Gilmore Girls.

All for as low as 96 bucks per year. To me its easily worth that price.

True Netflix sucks subscribers and cash from the others .

Amazon Prime Video is truly criminal , once your free trial is up and your paying 99% of the content becomes non Prime and on demand only .

My sister's birthday gift to me every year is access to her Netflix. I, for one, love all of the choices and original content. Being able to catch up on shows over the summer or other off times of certain shows is great. I like it.

Exactly this.

Netflix is putting out some of the best original content at the moment. I'd be hard-pressed to name cable shows I follow more closely than House of Cards, Narcos, and Master of None right now. Add to that an enormous back catalog of shows that I can binge as well, and it's well worth the price.

Then when you consider that they will be the exclusive streaming platform for Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar this September, it's a no-brainer for me.

Negative. I find myself watching old sitcoms on Netflix about 99% of the time.

I watched the first new one, and it was good.

I think the idea and format works so well that they can plug almost anyone with any wit and it will be entertaining for me.

I think Netflix is short with movies that are decent but for series, Netflix orginals, it is spot on.

Never though I would watch Parks and Rec. Saw it on Netflix and watched the entire series. Loved it. Where else can I get my Cheers fix.

It has more ups than downs.

Can you explain what Kodi/Exodus is?

Kodi is an open-source platform that allows content generators or users to share content. It can be installed on a PC, Fire Stick, Android TV, etc. There's lots of legitimate sources of content on Kodi, but there's also some grey areas where people share copyrighted content. Think of it as Napster for video content. Kodi itself is legal, though not all the content you can find on there is legal from a copyright-protection standpoint. From what I've read, it's not illegal to view, download, or stream copyrighted content, it's the person providing that content that would face punishment if caught. I wouldn't be surprised if Kodi faced an eventual fate similar to Napster someday though.

In summary, it is a program that you can put on a firestick which allows you to stream just about any movie or tv show ever made, including what is currently in theatres.

Depends on the file. I would say 99% of shows are TV quality. Movies depend on how new they are. Sometimes stuff in theatres can be hard to find a good stream.
