Do you have any proof to this, like where you wrote it here if you did or where you wrote it?

and nelson, I mostly was just trying to make a point that the talking heads on ESPN and everywhere are mostly that, just talking heads, they're no more knowledgeable than the people who write the stuff on the teleprompter

Yes they are. If they weren't, they would be getting paid to share their knowledge. Making picks is something anyone can do, it's rather simple. You just pick who you think will win, millions of people do it and do it correctly.

I think a lot of it has to do with how recognizable they are to the public, and their overall looks. I'm sure you've heard of the 2% rule, I know they don't all fit it, but those that don't are usually former coaches or players. You know that a lot of analysts contradict themselves/say stupid things. They report what sells, who can't do that?

Those are very good predictions then, the ravens one was good especially.

So who are you putting where in your NCAA Basketball Tournament Brackets in a few months? Care to share come the time?

yeah, well with the Ravens I looked at their division and just didn't see anybody who was really all that good, I mean you have the Steelers, but their QB had just had a major head/face injury, Bettis was gone, and to tell you the truth, I think it was more momentum and emotion than anything that helped them win that Super Bowl. then there's Cleveland... who is Cleveland. Cinci never seems to play good the entire season, and the Ravens always have a solid D, and McNair has been a fairly good QB.

and I always seem to end up getting 2nd or 3rd place in the NCAA brackets, with some girl who doesn't even pay any attention to it winning. it ALways happens, and frankly I'm tired of it, lol.

but yeah, I don't follow college hoops nearly as much as I do the NFL, so sorry, but probably can't help ya
