Only one game down, but Rodney Williams looks like hes going to be a big part of the Gophers offense. He seems to be coming off the bench a lot, and is contributing very well.

Fun fact: In the 8 years Bo Ryan has coached the Badgers they have never finished lower than 4th in the Big Ten. There is no way they finish lower than that this year either.

They lost Landry and Krabbenhoft, who yes were good players but neither ever lived up to expectations in my mind. Everyone else is a year older, Leuer and Nankivil both looked like they improved a lot over last year. Ryan Evans will be a great swing man, Taylor, Bohannon, and Trevon will all be a year better.

Bo Ryan always, always coaches his teams up. This team is an improvement over last year. Absolute lowest they will finish is 4th and I expect them to compete for a Big Ten Championship.

Definitely some good input. Bo does consistently have teams that finish in the top 4 and usually better, I just really don't see this team being better than last years. It is possible I suppose because of how much Bohannon and Hughes seemed to be stagnant in their development.

Have you seen the team this year? How do you know that Leuer and Nankivil looked very improved. It is important to remember that most players look better in pick up games as well. It is tough to truly tell either way until practice starts.

Also, what makes you say Ryan Evans will be a great swing man?

I told you 3points. Nankivil's three point shot is a thing of beauty, Leuer is bigger, and Ryan Evans looks fantastic. Not to mention the emergence of Rob Wilson and Jordan Taylor. So much more guard depth on this team than last year. Improved athletically and in size.

Tell me how this team won't be better than last year? They lost two completely replaceable guys. Everyone else a year improved.

Is that a "told you so" after playing Bemidji State? I will believe that Nankivil, Leuer, Evans, Rob Wilson, and Jordan Taylor can be consistent performers on the B10 level when they play B10 games.

You get more annoying with each post.

How about an "i told you so" after Duke, how does that work for you?

LOL I guess I'll say take advantage of it while you can...but the season is VERY young...anything can happen...enjoy it now...but lets not really over do it after one win...albeit it was a HUGE win

After being at that game I so jacked up I'll say about anything! Season is very young, still a long, long road ahead in the Big Ten. But man, was that an amazing showing. With both teams playing well too. Singler gave UW his best shot too, unbelievable in the first half.
