Ok watched Inglourius Basterds last night. I didn't like it. It will be getting a 2 from me. I mean, it drug on forever and was pretty predictable. Pitt was funny in the movie, but it had a TON of dead movement parts. Sure it all tied in at the end, but still.

Burn After Reading was fantastic. It took that style of movie that is popular now where you have multiple unconnected stories, and connect them ala crash, babel etc. Instead it turns it over and you have these people connected through absolutely nothing. It is an amazing take on plot development by the Coen Brothers. I would give it a 4 out of 5.

I just sent Magnolia back yesterday, which is another amazing movie. PT Anderson is just brilliant behind a camera. The plot was pretty heavy for the mood I was in, plus 3 hours is a long movie. This is probably a 4.5 out of 5

Oldboy is the other movie I had, it is a Korean movie where this guy gets locked up for 15 years but has no idea why, and when he gets out goes on a revenge mission. Pretty disturbing at times with some of the scenes and plot but pretty sweet. It has one of the coolest fight scenes in it with the main guy with a hammer fighting like 20 guys in a hallway. 4 out of 5

Agreed, Burn After Reading is awesome. Completely hilarious. The last scene is so funny.

Oldboy is nuts, really good movie, really intense too. Crazy ending.

Inglourious Basterds was a fantastic movie. The German actor in there had an amazing performance. Brad Pitt's character is awesome. Really, really good movie.

Another great movie from this year is Hurtlocker. Best movie of the year in my opinion. It is about the explosive ordinance removal guys in Iraq. Fantastic movie.

Zombiland was pretty funny. It is well worth renting, Woody is hilarious in it.

Lol, his line where he says "That'll do pig." Was so unexpected, I died laughing at that, so agreed, Woody was funny in that.

You didn't like Burn After Reading and You didn't like Inglorious Basterds? You taste in movies is apparently the complete opposite of mine. Those are both great, and highly entertaining movies.

Burn after reading is worth it just for the pay off at the end.

After walking out of the theater and seeing people with that look of astonishment and wondering if that just really happened was awesome. Could be the best final scene I've ever seen.
