Does anyone know why this job is open? Retirement, new job...? Will they fill from within?

Hadn't heard the job was open but wow whomever gets the job will inherit one heck of a nice team over the next two years and the defending DSC champs!

Why not? If they are the defending DSC champs and they have a good quality group coming back i dont see how they dont have the best shot at winning the conference again. Granted they will have a new coach, but this is high school football not the NFL. A change at this level isn't even as close to as difficult. They have probably the best shot to win it again pending everybody stays healthy and able to play.

The heir apparent has to be Mike Sinz, the D Coordinator. He'll keep things the way it has been and I'd imagine that Schmitt (Sp? sorry) would possibly stay to run the O. He was Head for the sole reason of getting the program stable again and while his son was playing.

They are interviewing for the job this week. I heard that Mike Sinz, a guy from Thorp, and a guy from GET were interviewed for the head coach. All i know is that whoever gets this job will inherit one hell of a team.

Any news? I also heard that the Boyceville job may still be up in the air based on other positions available in the district.

Haven't they already hired the other guy though? That does not seem right if they pulled it from him.

As for GC a guy is going to be recommended tonight.

I can't believe that three schools don't have head coaches right now in one conference!

Glenwood City hired a guy by the name Shane Strong from somewhere in BFE Minnesota

So who is coaching at Mondovi? Did Bundy end up with the job at Boyceville?
