Not much about MMA lately, thought I'd bring it up again. I didn't get to see it, but from the way it sounds Penn tore apart Sanchez last night. this photo of the end result pretty much says it all: [link=http://www.sherdog.com/pictures/gallery/fighter/f_15906/102809/48]http://www.sherdog.com/pictures/gallery/fighter/f_15906/102809/48[/link] Frank Mir had a big win to get back on track as well. Dan Henderson signing with Strikeforce is huge news, should be interesting to see how they use him (possibly a match with Fedor?? catchweight most likely if it were to happen). Bobby Lashley has also signed with strikeforce, and Herschel Walker has a match coming up with strikeforce as well. Cung Le is also returning to action which is always fun to watch.

I'd like to see Fedor take on Lashley. I know Lashley isn't very well-rounded yet, but the guy is HUGE. Give him some time to better his skills and I think he could put a beat down on Fedor.

big deal if hes huge. how much time are you willing to give him, a couple years? fedor would own him.

went to bdubs last night to watch the fights. Penn dominated and when i say dominated i mean it. Sanchez just was getting picked apart on his feet and got caught in the first round where everyone who i wss with agreeed it could have easily been stopped. Sanchez was trying over and over again to take BJ down and just couldnt do it. bj ended up opening a huge gash on Sanchezs head. it looked like there was a hole in his head. Mir cam out and looked good. the fight was very quick and ended when mir caught him with a big left a bout a min or two in. florian also looked good in his fight agaist guida

I can't stand BJ, but I also LOATH Diego, so I actually found myself rooting for BJ while reading the live updates on Sherdog last night(working [>:]) To quote Joe Rogan "That looked like a goat's" erhm, genetalia.

Chieck Kongo is scary....until you get him on the ground or in a submission, then he is pretty much pathetic.

Frank Mir got HUGE. He put 20 pounds on since UFC 100, it'll be interesting to see if he doesn't gas carrying the extra weight, when he gets tested in 2nd and 3rd rounds.

I can't say I care too much about Henderson signing w/strikeforce (i just don't like the guy), but there is a couple interesting fights. Shields, Mayhem Miller, Cung Le @ 185 all catch my eye. And @ 205 fights against King Mo and Gegard Mousasi. And apparently one of the big reasons he signed was a guaranteed fight against Fedor. Fedor by 2nd round KO.
