Ive been watching this conference for over 30 years I think he is the best player in conference history. Where is he going to school

Don't know what school hes talking to but wow. I agree Coach 12. The kids is a special talent. I would think that if any D1 schools saw that state game he could be given an offer as an "athlete" He can play so many positions.

Im baseing my statement on high school production. Walker has over 5000 yds all purpose in his career not to mention how good he has been on defense. He may not make the pros but for pure high school accomplishments no one is close. Beaver had a nice high school carreer but his numbers werent close to Walkers. I would also like to add this kid is all class my son has competed against him for 8 years now and he was always first rate.

Really? That is saying a lot. What about Beaver? What about the other players that went on to play in the Pro's?

Walker is a stud football player. Overall, it's hard to say, but he's incredibly athletic on the football field. I'd like to see how much better his 40 time is when he's got a ball in his hand. As far as next year, I think he's had a lot of consideration but no big offers...yet. Regardless of where he goes, he'll do well.

Just to clarify, are you talking just football or overall? I would agree that he is talented, but can't say he is the best ever. The conference has produced a lot of great athletes over the years. You are mentioning stats to back it up what you are saying, but those can't really be compared from the past because football is different today. Also, not many stats for linemen. I think to do a true comparison, you have to compare their overall career, not just High School.

d2harvs, I am not sure what other schools have produced, but Edgerton has had at least one pro football player (Paul Janus). If you open it up to other sports, the list gets longer. A key person right now that is playing really well is Steve Stricker.

Agreed on Stricker. I thought we were just talking football. I agree w Coach12. Whether he goes D1 or even on the NFL, kids develop at different ages. Walker is a special talent.
