This may be the toughest of all 7 finals to pick. BCC's speed, depth, and experience are well known. Hilbert, however, has only allowed 13 points in 4 playoff games, including an epic 6-0 win over #2 Shell Lake. They also had regular-season wins over top-tier teams in Brillion and Manty Lutheran--each of which would likely have had a pretty easy time with an MCC schedule. Wish I knew more about Hilbert's pass defense, because I think BCC's going to have to go to the air to win. Definitely rooting for the Hilltoppers, but I tend to think Hilbert will get the best of this one.

Well I will not make a prediction on here, but I will be pulling for BCC. I think one of the keys will be if BCC's defense, small but extremly quick, can stop the powerfull wing T that Hilbert runs. BCC runs a 4-3 but it really is a six man front with the middle LB staying home.
Hilbert plays a traditional 5-2 on defense. A good defense against a running team, but against BCC and the spread, they are going to have to go to either a 4-3 or 3-4 or a 4-2, or, lol. Their key will be if they have enough skill players to cover all of BCC's weapons. I think BCC has a more balanced offensive attack. They can actually tell a defense to pick there own poison, run or pass. This will be a very good game, I am so glad I have DVR so i won't miss it.

Hilbert no match for BCC's speed and passing prowess. Forgive my doubting. If they played this game 10 times, Hilltoppers would win 8 or 9, it appears. It's all over but the shouting now. Congrats to the new D7 state champions!
