well these last few weeks ive proved im at about a third grade reading level so i apologize to you mr ville and yes i am lucky that mr crackerjack graduated from barneveld with a reading level at least above 8th grade[]. but as far as the game goes im not getting into that whole argument again. ill just leave it at pec lost alot of talent this year, while mhb basically maintains everyone

I wouldnt say maintains everyone, MHB lost Nick Allen and Connor Morse... both starting recievers who prolly averaged together about 3 touchdowns a game combined if not more, Kyle Thompson who was one of their best lineman if not the best, also tyler kleppe who was also one of thier best lineman along with derec skogan who helped out as a running back and linebacker. But with all that said, MHB does return a ton of talent and many starters from lastyear. Judging by youth and from the senior classes for next year, MHB is undefeated with Pec-Argyle.

did u just say MHB will go undefeated?.....LOL.....i am sorry but until they do some things differently, preferably starting at the top and then getting players to actually go out for football, they are going to finish @ the bottom of the badger conference for a long time

well from the sounds of it, mhb is getting a whole new coaching staff ( with the exception of head coach) many new coaches will be around and many old coaches will not be there. ya never really no i guess. mhb will have alot of talent and it will be interesting to see how they use it because in the past years, it wasn't very well used you could say

and there in lies the problem....i agree that they have talent and have had it although they lose alot of good players

i think last year was alot of learning for the team and coaches tho. i agree last year we were wayy unorganized but that should change with a new defensive coordinator in as well as many other positions. i also think the players learned that in the badger north you cant take leads foregranted or come into games flat, and i know alot more people are motivated in the weight room than they were last year judging by the amount of people showing up

im thinking he meant they would go undefeated against pec argyle if they played next year, and they will not be finishing towards the bottom for a long time, even for next year were predicted to be top 3-4 in conference by other people in the conference who have played against our guys. and yes i screwed up with the maintains everyone, but they have alot of core guys. if someone can step up and fill the reciever role then we should be okay, because this years sophomore class has some outstainding linemen.

It has been mentioned, and seems to be the general consensus, (on this thread) that the MHB football program needs to start at the top. From what I have seen, and been told, there is a lack of effort at the bottom of the program starting with the players. Regardless of how unorganized or any other excuse you can find the bottom line is that it comes down to the players. If the effort isn't there, than it does not matter if you have a good coach.

it starts at the bottom, to bad that most of the players quit....IMO, MHB has a very good youth program, they have alot of interest, usually get alot of players out and have successful teams for whatever thats worth....but then when they get to high school alot of them quit....IMO, the program needs a new start, people wont quit cause they dont hear the stories of how the coaches are, plus a new coach will have enthusiasm and maybe get some more people enthused about football

LT u say the effort isnt their on the players but the effort was their. the only two games we dint have a real shot at winning were waunakee and defo, and not many ppl in conference could compete with them, so i think the effort is their without a doubt. and crackerjack is right about the youth programs, they usually go out and dominate the likes of warner park (anyone in youth football knows that they are a powerhouse) and madison memorial. many kids do quit when they get into high school but i think the coaching is more of an excuse than anything if a kid is going to quit. bottom line is if you love football enough, it doesnt matter whose coaching your going to love going out their and competing
