It's been a battle so far. Oden was out the majority of the first half with two fouls. Memphis has been unconscious from behind the arc (7/10), and somehow Ohio State manages to get into halftime up 41-38.

Mike Conley Jr. is so fun to watch. That kid's hesitation moves are so crafty, and he's one of the smarter freshman point guards I have seen in a while. The kid is a star in the making.

Connely Jr. and Oden are both equally important to the team and they both make each other better. Connely with the floater, and Oden with the put-back. Connely can go by anyone, anytime he wants to.

OSU will win this game by 10+

Eh, if Conley is strugging, everyone on that team struggles to find a rhythm. If Conley is able to penetrate, and kick out, there are open guys everywhere because of the defenders collapsing. If Conley is scoring and dishing out assists, Ohio State is lethal.

You're right, Oden is very important, but Ohio State proved they can without Oden. Can they win without Conley? Well, in Florida, Conley struggled mightily and tOSU got killed. In Wisconsin, turnovers plagued Conley early in the game, and Wisconsin made their run. It's very hard to find a time when Conley screws up, which is exactly why tOSU wins. He steps up in big games.

Wow, Douglas-Roberts gets called for an intentional on Oden but when he shoves someone out of bounds blatantly he doesn't get one? That was a really weak intentional on D-R.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but...isn't it a technical when a player dunks and does a chin up? I've seen Oden do it not once, not twice, but thrice in this game alone.

It should be one I think, especially in College.

I think they said something in the studio (at the half) about it could be a technical.

they wouldn't call it on Oden, would they?

I don't really like the rule of getting a technical for flushing a powerful dunk.

I didn't see the dunk, but from all the dunks I've seen Oden do this year, I don't think any of them are worthy of a technical. He just dunks with a lot of authority. He kind of does a chin up, but it's not a real blatant one.

I can understand a technical if a guy dunks and hangs up there for a few seconds, but I don't have a problem with what Oden does.

CDR did go for the ball, he went for the ball and as oden went up for the shot his arms moved to the waist, that was a horrilbe call. Also, if you think that was an intentional fould what about odens shove? He gets some many breaks by the refs its not even funny, an example is the no call on the goal tending.

All of you seriously, shut up. After EVERY Ohio State game, all you people do is complain about Oden. We all know none of you like Oden, probably because he plays for Ohio State. Seriously though, every great player gets bailed out of calls. Hell, Alando Tucker gets ticky tack fouls called in his favor that are very questionable. Does anyone talk about those? No, because Alando plays for the most perfect team to ever step foot on a college basketball court. Fact is, keep whining, it's not going to get you anywhere, so why continue with something that's constantly brought up? Ohio State won, Memphis lost, get used to it.
